Architect and Urbanist with a professional Degree from PUC-Rio in Brazil. He furthered his education with a Postgraduate qualification in Parametric Design with Visual Programming in BIM from Zigurat Institute, specializing in computational design and digital fabrication. With practical experience in architectural design and construction, Marcelo has collaborated with Rio-based 3D printing company, Pangeia Lab, focusing on digital fabrication. Currently, he serves as an Architectural Designer at X-Topia, playing a significant role in the "Entangled Matter" project, which was showcased at the 18th Architecture Venice Biennale in 2023, highlighting his contributions to innovative architectural and urban research.
