The 2024 NYCAB theme, Architectural intersections, is intended to generate cross sectoral relationships related to contemporary trends in the production of our built environment. Taking place under this umbrella individuals from a broad spectrum of interests are invited to bring and share their intelligence and information to the NYCAB audience. As in past New York Architectural Biennials the design world —including architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, interior design, environmental design, and their collaborators in the sciences and humanities— is being called upon to apply its expertise, knowledge, and passion to the opportunities and challenges of our time.⁠
